Director of DTU Executive School of Business

DTU invites qualified candidates to apply for the position of a director of DTU Executive School of Business.

DTU Executive School of Business – in short DTU Business – is a center at DTU, which pursues research and provides executive programs in the areas of innovation, leadership, global management, and corporate entrepreneurship since 1997.

The director of DTU Business is primarily in charge of managing the research, education, and innovation activities of DTU Business, including operations, accounting and finance, and business development. The director is responsible for the financing and all human resource related issues of DTU Business.

Qualifications

• Candidates should combine an entrepreneurial mindset, managerial capabilities, and strong research orientation, preferable in management and social science. Candidates are expected to also show a strong international background and should be fluent in Danish, English and at least one other major European language.
• Track record of high quality international publications, preferably focusing innovation management issues both on a project and corporate innovation system level, which should enable the candidate to meet the qualification criteria of a full professorship at a recognized university.
• Experience in preparing and attracting national and European research applications, including the ability to establish research alliances with top international researchers and universities.
• Experience in leading an institute focused on executive management education is welcomed. Candidates, who also have own teaching experience in Danish and European executive programs, preferable in the area of technology and innovation management, are preferred.

Terms of Employment
The position is classified in scale 37 with the possibilities to negotiate allowances.
