Graduate Level Distance Learning Degrees — Academic Award

Award Description

A $500 award will be given to a student pursuing a distance learning master's degree program.
Amount: $500
Number of Awards: One per year
Deadline: April 1st of each year

Focus

Applicants must be pursuing their degree through a distance learning program. All degree specializations will be considered, including but not limited to:

• Online MBA Degree Programs
• Online Master of Education Degree Programs
• Online Master of Health Administration Degree Programs
• Online Master of Public Administration Degree Programs
• Online Master of Psychology Degree Programs
• Online Master of Electrical Engineering Degree Programs
• Online Master of Nursing Degree Programs

Selection Criteria

Selection will be based on academic history and extracurricular activities. Financial need will not be considered.
Funds

The winner will be notified following the deadline and the award will be sent directly to the recipient by check to the permanent mailing address noted in the application.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent U.S. Resident
• Must be enrolled (or accepted) in an accredited college or university and planning on continuing the next year.
• Must have a minimum of 30 semester or 45 quarter hours still to be completed.
• Must consent to provide a digital photograph of self and quote for display on Education-Portal.com if notified as the award winner by the selection committee.
