- receive up to 25,500 € from the GISMA-Education Fund -
Selected applicants commencing the full-time MBA-program at GISMA Business School in August 2009 have the
opportunity to finance their studies through the GISMA-Education Fund.
How does the GISMA-Education Fund work?
- A maximum of 10 admitted students can receive granting of up to 25,500 € per person. Accordingly, their tuition expenses will decrease from 30,000 € to 4,500 € (payable in 5 installments of 900 € each).
- Starting with the first job after graduation, the students pay back a percentage (normally about 5-10%) of their income over a period of 60-84 months. The percentage is to be determined before the MBA program starts. It depends on the student’s expected career development.
- Example: Julia wishes to study in the MBA program at GISMA. Unfortunately, her financial means are insufficient.
- Consequently, Julia applies for financing through the GISMA-Education Fund. Due to her interesting record Julia is admitted to the program: instead of paying 30,000 €, Julia only pays 4,500 € for her education. After Julia has successfully completed her studies at GISMA and has accepted a position, she pays back 6.9% of her income over 72 months.
Advantages of the GISMA-Education Fund:
- The Education Fund allows you to study at GISMA – regardless of your financial resources.
- Unlike a loan you do not have to pay back fixed debt and interest.
- When paying back, the Education Fund considers your personal income.
- The payback does not begin unless you have found a job.
- For the time you do not work after graduation, you do not need to pay back.
- In case of a worse than expected income development, you will pay back less than the amount originally received.
- In the case of a much better than expected income development, you will not pay more interest than 7.8% p.a.
- No collateral is required. Your qualification and your enrollment at GISMA are our guarantee.
Admission Requirements:
Our partner CareerConcept is responsible for the selection and admittance of the applicants. To be admitted to the
GISMA-Education Fund program, a candidate must convince CareerConcept of his/her academic, professional and
personal qualifications. The Education Fund is available for students with EU citizenship within the Euro zone, USAmericans
and Canadians.
